Such a great stay, the team was very accommodating and so fast to help with anything we needed. The apartment was clean, modern, and the lighting options created the perfect mood. We loved having smart TVs in both rooms and the hanging swing chair at the balcony. Parking was… easy, there was a designated spot and there were lots of parking spots in-front of the building for visitors. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were disposable toiletries and extra towels. The only downside might be the airport proximity means some very loud plane noises occasionally We understood the trade-off for the location, but it’s good to be aware of. Everything was accessible, the mall was 3-5 minutes by car. Still a 5-star experience for us! 🌟

Communicating with Desert Key was very easy and all queries were promptly replied to. We had a few issues on arrival, but they did deal with these quickly. There was an odd odour in the kitchen, and a cleaning crew was sent to resolve this as soon as we notified them of the… problem. Water's Edge is located near the AUH Int Airport, but the apartment inside was very quiet and we weren't disturbed by the aircraft. Our son loved being able to watch the departing aircraft from our balcony and outside playground! The one downside to the lovely large playground is lack of shade, so you do have to time your visits for the cooler mornings or when the buildings cast a shadown over the area. The pools were lovely and each had a shallow splash pool for younger children. There are a few restaurants in walking distance and a Carrefour too. The apartment's location is very convenient as the theme parks are all nearby. We will be booking to stay again in the future.

Apartment is good, but it’s 110 m! ! from the lift. The seats at balcony are uncomfortable and differ from those shown in the pictures, the view is to another parking area outside Water Edge. Apartment Parking is outside building with no direct access to lift, making it difficult… to take luggage. The AC didn’t work well (would be uncomfortable in summer if not fixed), and frequent flights over the balcony line make it noisy day and night. I’ve stayed in several WaterEdge apartments, and these issues seem common in buildings 7 to 10 where so many apartments are depending on 2 lifts at one end of the building, plus the issue of parking without direct access to lift. In my opinion the price for these apartments should be lower, the offer shall indicate the building location to allow better choice, My council to others is to select those buildings close to the canal that are smaller.

A wasted opportunity for a nice stay. Great location (close to many nice places) and positive staff. The living room makes a good impression…
Downside · Unfortunately, it was subjectively the worst hotel vs. price we have stayed in in recent years (please see the photos and judge for yourself). The kitchen was messily cleaned and the cabinets literally stank of spices from previous guests. The staff did not offer compensation for the lowered standard. The floor and stove should be replaced given the quality and aspirations of the property. The walls are damaged and overall the quality is mediocre in many places. The safe is not attached, so it is useless. There was an alarm failure in the building at 1 a.m. so we had a sleepless night. Moreover, during rush hours, planes fly over the building every few minutes, so it is impossible to rest (it is really noisy)
